Introducing 3D maternity and body scanning at my Bonaire PHOTOGAPHY, SCAN AnD SCULPTURE studio
Since 2011, I have been creating maternity and motherhood portraits at my private studio on Bonaire. This new service is a natural extension of that work: bringing together artistic expression, modern technology, and the personal attention that has always been at the heart of my studio.
Your comfort and safety are central to the new experience will using the newest technology generation of handheld 3D scanner, which uses infrared VCSEL structured light to capture the body's shape and contours digitally. The scanner is held at a distance from the body, so the capture itself is non-contact. No physical moulding or contact with the body is required for the digital scan.
This VCSEL structured light is not harmful and does not penetrate deep into the body. It is a safe, non-invasive technology commonly used for 3D body contouring and surface mapping.

Infrared 3D scanning is widely used in healthcare to design custom prosthetics, orthopedic casts, and braces. Because the scanner is completely non-contact and captures images instantly, doctors can accurately map a patient's body shape without any discomfort or physical pressure. The resulting digital model can then be prepared for the creation of a three-dimensional sculpture.
